Kwadwo Ohemeng Asumaning


Kwadwo Ohemeng Asumaning is the Board Chairman of Business Council for Africa (Ghana) which is a 100-member business council in the country aimed at providing  advancing business  interests and advocacy of its members. He was elected in 2016 at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of BCA GH. Asumaning also doubles as the Chairman of African Business Media (ABM), organizers of the annual Ghana Economic Outlook & Business Strategy (EOBS) Conference and the publishers of the Ghana Business & Finance (GB&F) magazine an award-winning monthly business magazine. He is the Managing Director (MD) of AfricaOnline Ghana, the premier Internet Service Provider (ISP) in the country.

An experienced corporate chieftain, he previously worked in senior capacities at the then homeland of Transkei in South Africa. He worked at a subsidiary of First National Bank (FNB) in Johannesburg after South Africa’s independence in 1994; then also at Telkom South Africa (now known as Telkom BCX SOC), which is listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE).  After many years sojourning abroad, he returned to his native Ghana to contribute the development of the economy.

Ms. Sophia Quantson

CEO, Law Offices of S.M Quantson Ghana

Sophia Quantson is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Law Offices of S.M. Quantson, an Accra based law firm. She is an experienced legal professional with a background in both private law practice and corporate experience. Sophia Quantson studied Law and French at the University of Ghana and then proceeded to the Ghana Law School. She was called to the Bar in 1997. She also holds an Executive Master of Business Administration from the GIMPA Graduate School of Business and a Professional Diploma in corporate governance from the Institute of Directors Ghana.

Mr. Charles F. Oduro

Managing Director of KEK Insurance Brokers Limited

Mr. Charles Oduro is the Managing Director (MD) of KEK Insurance Brokers Limited. He is a Chartered Insurance Practitioner and a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute, UK (FCII). He holds Master of Applied Business Research from Swiss Business School, Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) Finance option and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Administration (B.Sc. Admin) Insurance option from the University of Ghana Business School (formerly known as the School of Administration, University of Ghana) and a post-graduate diploma in Marketing of Services from the Maastricht School of Management in the Netherlands. He is a part time Lecturer at the Ghana Insurance College and sits on Boards of some reputable organisations.
